IC Information:
Name: Lucas, now Lucas Jones in his reincarnation
Canon: MOTHER 3
Age: 12 (The game never stated his exact age.)
Preincarnation Appearance: I'd link to you my art, but I prefer to show you his SSBB model instead
Any differences: None!

Preincarnated History:
Taking place after the first two MOTHER games, MOTHER 3 is set in the small, remote village of Tazmily, located around the Nowhere Islands. Lucas was the son of Hinawa and Flint, and he's pretty much the youngest in the family. Well, to be exact, the youngest twin. Claus would be his older twin.

Basically here's the gist of what happened in the game. Lucas' life was all fine and dandy until a bunch of shady-looking people happened to barge in and brought over some tragedies upon his family. There, a series of unfortunate events happened, which led to the town's drastic change three years later. Eventually, Lucas meets the mysterious Magypsy named Ionia. And thanks to Ionia, Lucas realized and awakened his own hidden power. He later finds out that his power can be used to pull off the seven needles, mysterious objects that exist to awaken the Dark Dragon, that were scattered around the island. He and his friends were then given the task to find each and every needle, and hopefully to awaken the dragon beneath the island.

Reincarnated History
Lucas Jones was nothing more than an ordinary kid, living an ordinary life. His father was an office clerk, while his mother works as a florist and happens to own and manage a flower shop, "The Sunflower Fields", right below their home. Unlike his previous life however, Lucas never had a twin nor a sibling. For the rest of his life, he grew up as an only child. Growing up as an only child sure seemed pretty lonely for him. ...That is, until a week before all that weirdness began, his mother announced that she's expecting another one. He's pretty happy about that, at least.

At school, he wasn't exactly the most popular kid. He was just the average schoolboy living with his average school life. In his class, he was usually known to be "the quiet one", due to his meek and timid nature. But that made him a target for bullies, and was therefore picked on from time to time. However, he never tells this to his parents. He was afraid it would cause more trouble that way. And so for most of his school days, he tries to hold back and endure all of that, even if it was painful. Besides, he knew he wasn't strong enough to face them.

At home however, it was mostly quiet. His father rarely comes home early due to his work. He barely has time to spend quality time with his family either, so he's usually absent whenever Lucas is around. His mother on the other hand is always at home, but most of the time tends to her flower shop. And whenever his mother was busy with a few errands, he does help out in watching over the shop. Most of the time, the shop rarely gets busy, so it's usually quiet when he watches over. It's not as exciting as school, but at least, it was peaceful. Sort of.

All in all, Lucas lives a fairly simple life, much like his previous one. Well, sure it's not as exciting as what he experienced before, but he would rather enjoy the peace. The peace helps him at ease after all. But it doesn't last until the day he recieved his first echo.

First Echo:
Lucas' first echo kicks in right after the schoolyard bullies pushed the poor kid off the edge of the pool. Getting himself submersed in the pool's water was slightly reminiscent to how he realized some of his hidden power while being forced to stay in the water for a certain amount of time. At that moment, Lucas could feel a surge of power flowing throughout his body. But once he releases this power, there was a huge explosion, taking most of the water out of the pool. This pretty much scared off the bullies, which now leaves Lucas soaking wet and confused with what happened.

Preincarnation Personality:
At the start of the game, young Lucas is described as kind and gentle in nature. His personality actually contrasts with his brother, Claus, who was described to be a lot more determined and energetic than his twin. Due to his meek and timid nature, he's not exactly the type who'd be confident with their actions, and has the tendency to hesitate. Lucas is pretty submissive too, and is seen most of the time following right behind Claus. He's also quite sensitive, and would usually react emotionally. The game even notes this a few times that he's quite the crybaby. His emotional outbursts would then be further cemented in one event in the game: His mother's death. It tore his heart after he witnessed her death, resulting to the poor kid shutting himself in his room and cried a lot more than usual.

Three years had passed, the villagers, and the village itself had changed. And seeing those changes made Lucas desire to grow strong. It was during those three years where Lucas was forced to gather up his courage, and later became determined to fight back. He was no longer the coddled young boy everyone used to know. Lucas had wiped his tears away and learned how to stand up for himself. He did this so he could be strong enough to protect the village, even though it was too late for him to stop the changes. And it's only up to that point where we learned of Lucas' personality by the time he was given the role of the silent protagonist, and the rest is up to the player's interpretation.

Later in the game, it shows that despite the changes, Lucas' kind and gentle heart still remains. At one point, he would later find out that one of the enemies he faced was actually his long lost twin. And when he faced him again for the final time, Lucas only held back, not wanting to hurt his brother. He couldn't even lift his weapon and try to fight back. He doesn't have the heart to do so, of course. And when he loses his will to fight while his brother senselessly beats him up, he became so unsure of what he should do that he even cried during battle.

Lucas is also the kind of person who sees and believes in the goodness in people's hearts. He even pities those who have caused him and everyone great pain like the game's main antagonist, Porky Minch, for example. Despite all the troubles Porky caused, he learned of the Pig King's life and misery of being alone, and even felt sorry for him. He does not have the heart to hate or despise him. This also includes the villagers who ignored, opposed or despised the poor young boy during his life three years later. He couldn't blame them for acting that way beause he knew they were only corrupted and blinded by the greed Porky had brought to them. Yet he still has faith that they would return to their senses once more.

So overall, Lucas was a kind, gentle, yet sensitive kid. And he still is, despite being strong-willed and all after three years had passed. Yeah, we all learned that his life sucks. But it's thanks to these events that he grew strong and determined during those years, and he still continues to grow during the events of the game.

Any differences:
By the time he is reincarnated as Lucas Jones, he is once again that one meek and timid boy just like his previous incarnation before he grew up and endured the changes. However, he is trying to grow a bit of confidence, but he tends to hold back or hesistate when doing so. Especially when it comes to facing the schoolyard bullies. Often times, he just runs away from the problem. His lack of confidence drives poor Lucas to act this way. And from time to time, the more he hesitates, the more he regrets about it.

During his previous life, Lucas is pretty indifferent about machines that were used for everyday lives (eg. television, refrigerators, etc.) as well as the advancement of technology. The new reincarnated Lucas however, is practically the opposite. Since he's grown up seeing and having these fancy gadgets and gizmos during his lifetime, he's used to them. So he's pretty much okay with it. He even has his own phone and handheld game console that he keeps in his pocket or in his bag most of the time.

Abilities:
Lucas uses Psionics, or PSI as the game calls it. Or in simpler terms, he has psychic powers. And in the game, these abilities were proved to be useful whenever they encounter different foes. Each person is adept with certain PSI abilities. For Lucas' case, his PSI moveset contains mostly healing and support PSI, therefore he is more competent with that. Here's a list of his moves used in the game. Aside from the ones mentioned, Lucas is able to use telepathy. It can be implied that he could hear the thoughts of others (mostlty animals) through this ability.

Combat-wise, Lucas can do a bit of basic swordplay, but only with the use of blunt weapons like sticks or baseball bats.

Roleplay Sample – Third Person:
A terrible migrane was the worst thing he'd wake up with first thing in the morning. It was only yesterday when Lucas encountered that weird incident. He remembered getting dunked into chlorine at first, and then all of a sudden there was a burst of energy flowing throughout his body. But to Lucas, the weird thing was that somehow, that flow of energy surrounding him, it felt familiar. It was like he had this power stored inside him for the entire time.

Still, what was going on? How did he get this power? Why did he even have this kind of power? And how come it was all too familiar to him? As these thoughts swam around his head, Lucas pulled his pillow over his forehead, as if he was trying to supress the pain with the cushion's softness. Thinking about it would just worsen his migraine anyway.

Well, at least it's a weekend today, Lucas thought to himself. And it was a good thing too. He would rather sleep all those weird thoughts, along with the migrane, off for the whole day. It was too much for Lucas to handle. All he wanted was to clear his head from these thoughts, sleep them all away. Sleep sounded good anyway. Sleep was pretty much the best option he had.

But once he closed his eyes, sunlight shone through his eyelids. His mom had to open up those blinds.

"Rise and shine, sweetie! You promised to help me out with those bouquet deliveries, remember?"

Right, there was that. How could he forget that. He would try to respond to that, but all Lucas could make out for now is a groan.

Roleplay Sample - Network:
[Lucas was a little wary of the idea of contacting through the network, but hey, he needed some help right now. And it doesn't seem like the internet would help him that much anyway. He starts typing in his number first before he leaves a message through the chatbox.]

by any chance is there another way to stop a headache?? mine's weird and meds didn't help.. and when it gets painful a flower vase breaks

[And he'll stop right there.

...He doubts anyone would read this. Or maybe he'd be laughed at. Now he's kind of unsure whether this was a good idea.]
